Oh I do so appreciate this reminder of the existence of the LACY DEMI-DRAPE! I’m from the U.S. Virgin Islands, where lacy embroidered STUFF features prominently in every self-respecting grandmothers home…often in the form of grandma-embroidered doilies, starched into waves and placed on almost every surface in sight. I love the idea of bringing the lacy demi-drape from its mothball smelling vibe into a more contemporary feeling space, celebrating the patterns & shadows created on walls … not in a cottage core kind of way, but in more surprising combinations…hmm…seeds have been planted. Thank you!
